If There’s One Thing I’ve Learned From Losing a Son, It’s Empathy

When you’re hurting, you don’t need someone to try to “fix it.”

Someone needs to listen, someone needs to try to get it. Someone needs to be open and share what’s real, to be there. Lisa got to where she would tell me, “Don’t try to fix me; just feel me.”
