Infinitely Happier, Part 4: The Courage to Change

It takes a lot of courage to make changes in our lives

Lately, we’ve been talking about the basics of self-brain surgery to learn how to think about our thinking, and the ideas behind the new book I’m writing, Infinitely Happier: A Neurosurgeon’s Thoughts on Thinking.

But today, we’re going to talk about courage. About how to shake off the fear of change and finally step into the freedom we’re designed to live in.

The problem is, most of us spend our lives reacting to our thinking, because we never think about our thinking. And one part of our own thinking we don’t think about enough is being honest with ourselves about why we’re more comfortable hiding in sameness- some relationships, habits and behaviors we’re too scared to change- than we are in stepping out of sameness and into the fresh wind of the life God has in mind for us.
